    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I thank the Members for supporting this Motion. For some time now, we have not had a DPP because of the appointment of the holder of this position to a CS. It is very important that we do this approval today so that we can have a substantive DPP. There are 118,000 criminal cases pending in our courts. When the nominee appeared before us, he gave us the assurance that he is going to ensure that these cases are dealt with and that Kenyans are going to access justice.
