    "content": "Imagine, you deliver your maize to the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and wait for an indefinite period of time to be paid. Majority of our farmers delivered their maize to NCPB as early as December 2017 and have not been paid up to date. These farmers depend on farming for their livelihood and also have to pay school fees, bills and prepare their farms for purposes of planting. There is still a long queue of farmers waiting to deliver their produce to NCPB in the entire North Rift, western and southern."
