    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Minister is confirming to me that it is on schedule. I want to congratulate him for that. But the point here is that we want the port expanded, so that the movement of goods there can be expedited. With the recommendation of the Committee, it is just imperative that competition be introduced for the benefit of the consumers, the majority of whom are Kenyans. The Ministry could also consider opening other ports on the build, operate and transfer (BOT) arrangement, so that goods can flow in and out of Kenya expeditiously. I beg to support."
