"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is worse than casual because the Chairman spoke to me and never disclosed that. I am happy that before this he had mentioned that he is a godly Senator. In fact, he mentioned to me that they are unable to trace records. What you have mentioned is true; that this is a serious matter. People were displaced in the 1980’s for the construction of a national dam, and yet, somebody appears to not to know where it is. What is worse is that the Cabinet Secretary had made an undertaking to the Senate to answer that question. Is this good time to suggest, particularly to the Chair, that the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the matters falling under his docket should be summoned for a meeting at the Senate? This will enable all of us to ask him these questions because he is playing around with the lives of Kenyans."
