    "content": "In Clause 7, the Bill further seeks to establish the National Irrigation Development Authority as a successor of the National Irrigation Board. The Authority shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and common seal. In its corporate name, it shall be capable of suing and being sued, taking, purchasing and otherwise acquiring, holding, charging or disposing of movable and immovable property, borrowing or lending money, entering into contracts and doing such other acts as necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the Authority."
