    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Thank you, Member for Makueni Constituency. He got me this chance by saying a number of nice things about Tharaka and the dam that is just about to be constructed. I rise to support this very important Bill which has timeously been brought into the House for debate and for legislation. It is very important that we acknowledge irrigation as one of the key aspects of the food sector in Kenya. For the country to realise its full potential in terms of food production, it is vitally important that most of the country is put under irrigation."
