    "content": "Local content has been defined to mean added value brought to the Kenyan economy from petroleum-related activities through systematic development of natural capacity. So, we need to learn from the best practices. Countries and companies that have managed these resources well should transfer that knowledge and capacity to our people. On sharing of the accruing benefits, this part provides that a contractor and sub-contractor conducting petroleum exploration, shall among other things give priority to services provided and goods manufactured in Kenya and ensure that employment of Kenyans is given priority."
