Kenneth Matiba underwent have found it fit to repent their sins. As we mourn Hon. Kenneth Matiba, it is not lost on us that the people who are directly responsible for the fate that befell Hon. Kenneth Matiba are still alive. Indeed, it is widely acknowledged that if Hon. Kenneth Matiba was not detained and denied medical attention by the then dictatorial regime, he would be alive today. As we mourn Hon. Kenneth Matiba, as a country, we must reflect and soul-search the befitting tributes we can pay to this fallen hero and his other colleagues who have gone before him."
