    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. On my behalf, on behalf of the National Super Alliance Coalition (NASA), and on behalf of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party, the people of Suba South Constituency and my own family, I want to also join other Kenyans who have sent messages of condolences and sympathies to the family, friends, and relatives of the late Hon. Kenneth Stanley Njindo Matiba. I also want to point out that many of us were young when Matiba went through the tribulations. I remember I was in Form Three when he resigned, but when he fought hard in 1990 to 1991 and was detained, and in 1992 when he ran for the presidency, I was old enough. I was in the university and in our small ways, we contributed thinking that we would have a change of leadership in the country. Unfortunately, today we are addressing the issue of the late Njindo Matiba as one who never became the president of this country."
