    "content": "lastly I would like to notify you that pursuant to Article 132(1)(b) and (c) of the Constitution of Kenya, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya and the Commander-In-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, the Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, CGH, will address the nation on Wednesday, 2nd May, 2018, at a Joint Sitting of the Houses of Parliament in the National Assembly Chamber, Parliament Buildings at 2.30 p.m. The Office of the Clerk of the Senate has, in this regard, issued a communication to all Hon. Senators by way of a letter. I will also be issuing a Gazette Notice on this matter. This being a very important national event, I once again, urge each one of you to attend the Joint Sitting.
