    "content": "THAT, Clause 76 of the Bill be amended— (a) by deleting sub-clause (1) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause— (1) A county government may exercise in relation to a national trunk road in its area all the powers that it may exercise in respect of a county road in its area: Provided notification of the actions or powers intended has been provided and consented to by the National Agency with delegated powers over the road. (b) by deleting sub-clause (3) and substituting therefor the following new sub-clause— (3)If there is no contract of the kind mentioned in section 72 between the Authority and a county government, a county government shall not exercise any of its powers on a national trunk road within its area of jurisdiction. (c) by deleting sub-clause (4); (d) by deleting sub-clause (5); (e) by deleting sub-clause (6)."
