    "content": "But we are bound by our own laws, Constitution and practice. We have to respect our own laws. The lawmakers who make laws expect those laws to be adhered to and respected by all Kenyans. The unique privilege that we have is that we can change those laws ourselves. If we are not too happy with a given law, and we feel that it does not serve the interest of Kenyans, we can repeal it. It is the House that makes the laws and can also amend them. But until such time that a law is amended, it has to be respected by the Chair, the House and everybody else."
