    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the last clarification sought is on monetary gain to Kenya. I would like to state that the Government of Kenya does not get any direct monetary value of the land leased to the British Army for the following reasons:- (a) the land is not leased to the British Army, but they just train on an area gazetted for training of the Kenya Armed Forces and, on several occasions, they train jointly with the Kenya Armed Forces; and, (b) according to the MOU, training of the British Army in Kenya is on reciprocal basis as training of Kenya Armed Forces in Britain is supposed to be free of charge.
