Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended— (a) by inserting the words “midstream and downstream” immediately after the words “all upstream” appearing in sub-clause (1); (b) by deleting sub-clause (2). This is to align the Bill with the amendments made to Part V of the Energy Bill, which removed midstream and downstream petroleum from the Energy Bill and moved it to the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Bill as the anchoring Bill for all petroleum operations."
