    "content": "THAT, the Motion for the adoption of the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Second Supplementary Estimates for 2017/2018 be amended by inserting the following words at the end thereof– “subject to: (i) the insertion of a new recommendation after (x) under Part V (b) on page 15 of the Report as follows - (xi) Increase allocation towards capital expenditure for the sub-programme 0706020 Community Development under the Economic Policy and National Planning Programme in the State Department for Planning and Statistics by a total of Kshs3,300 million. (ii) Effecting the consequential amendment to the First Schedule and the total sum approved accordingly. Further to that amendment, I wish to draw the House’s attention to a typographical error on the Schedule attached to the Report under the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and Office of the Registrar of Political Parties. You will note that in the body of the Report, an additional amount of Kshs50 million has been given to the Office of the DPP, but the Schedule there has a typographical error and that amount was put under the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties. Therefore, it is important for Members to note that, that amount relates to the Office of the DPP. Thank you.
