Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 37 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (2) by inserting the words “for approval” immediately after the words “the county assembly”. The amendment seeks to recognise the role of the county assemblies in approving plans in terms of Article 185(4) of the Constitution and Section 87 of the County Government Act, 2012."
