Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, clause 44 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “publish a notice in the Gazette and in at least two newspapers of national circulation” and substituting therefor the words “publish a notice in the Gazette, in at least two newspapers of national circulation and through electronic media”; The amendment seeks to provide for publication of notice by the planning authorities through electronic media in addition to publication in the Gazette and local daily newspapers."
