Deputy Speaker, I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure from the Equalisation Fund for the Financial Year 2017/18, laid on the Table of the House on Thursday, 3rd May 2018, and pursuant to provisions of Article 204 of the Constitution and Standing Order 235(5), approves the withdrawal of Kshs.11, 977, 764, 688 from the Equalisation Fund that consists of: (i) Kshs. 428,162,930.40 for Recurrent Expenditure; and (ii) Kshs. 11,549,601,757.60 for Development Expenditure."
