Deputy Speaker, as per the Report tabled before this House and, as I mentioned in the Procedural Motion, this is simply a revote of the same Appropriations Bill that we did in the last financial year but lapsed. If Hon. Members read the Committee’s recommendations, they would have seen that we are recommending that in future, to avoid further delays in implementation of the Equalisation Fund, the National Treasury should submit the Equalisation Fund Estimates together with the Annual Estimates beginning with the 2018/2019 Financial Estimates. The Financial Estimates for the ensuing Financial Year were tabled by the Leader of the Majority Party this morning. It is my sincere hope that the National Treasury has submitted the Equalisation Fund Estimates as provided for in the Constitution and in our Standing Orders together with those of the other Estimates. I can hear the Leader of the Majority Party whispering that they have done so. That is why I said I sincerely hope so because I am yet to see what was tabled this morning.
