    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I request for direction from the Chair on this matter. The Statement on the issue of coal in Mui Basin was delivered to me in March this year. The Chairman of the Committee made a commitment that the following day, he will present a detailed Statement on this matter. As we speak today, the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Energy has already visited the area and a new company has been given the concession to exploit the resource. On the 15th of this month, the County Government of Kitui has called for a stakeholders’ meeting on this matter. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I request your office to give direction on how to proceed with the Chairperson of the Committee on Energy."
