"content": "We have seen an agitation, including from Members of the National Assembly, saying that health should be removed from the mandate of county governments and taken back to the national Government. I do not think that is a debate that the Senate would wish to entertain. However, we need to put the governors into full accountability for all their actions and ensure that they put the health of their citizens at the fore. This is because without the people, we would all not be here because they are the ones who vote for us. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I conclude by saying that in any occasion that the House is called upon to investigate such a matter, we should take it very seriously so that we can encourage people from other counties to seek assistance from the Senate when the need arises. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to support."
