    "content": "Thank you Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me the opportunity to contribute to the State of the Nation Address given by His Excellency the President. In the speech, the President addressed the fulfillment of the realization of national values by Kenyans, progress made so far in the fulfillment of the international obligations of the Republic and the state of our security. The President paid tribute to Parliament, especially the 11th Parliament for doing a great job in that Session by implementing the Constitution that was passed in 2010. I laud Parliament for the good work last time and I urge them to continue so that we can enact laws that can build this nation. The two Houses of Parliament, the Senate and the National Assembly, must cooperate in law making and stop competition for unnecessary reasons.
