Those of us from maize growing areas are having a difficult time because there is uproar from the farmers. I call upon the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to ensure that they follow up on the issues that we are raising. The Senators who come from those areas will give them the necessary support. Secondly, I call for prompt payment of farmers, starting from this week.
