    "content": "Thank you Hon. Speaker for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this Motion. I would like to start by thanking the Budget and Appropriations Committee for the very thorough job they have done. As parliamentarians, our role of oversight is not limited to looking at expenditure, but rather we should be concerned about how projects are identified, as well as how allocation of available resources to prioritised projects is done. Thereafter, how Government ministries and agencies spend the money that they are allocated."
