    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I agree with the amendment as moved by the Member, the only surgeon in the House. However, he would have qualified his statement by saying that he is doing that not because there is anything wrong with what we did in the last session, but because of the new dispensation that we have in place. That way, we would not have issues. What happens if we change again and merge the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Mining and Petroleum? Are we going to amend the law to resonate with the changes that we are making now? That is why it would have been nice if he said that we are doing this as a short term measure, but going forward, we might want to merge it for purposes of unity and synergising the efforts to achieve a better result from the oil in Turkana."
