    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity. I also stand in support of the Statement by Sen. Nyamunga. This is a matter of national importance. The truth of the matter is that governments exist to serve their citizens. Before we take a single shilling from the resources that we have out of this country, it is important to make sure it is spent in this country to build our economy and to create jobs. In line with the President’s agenda on manufacturing, this presents a very good opportunity for us to invest in the manufacturing sector for motor vehicles. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I, therefore, agree with Sen. Nyamunga that we should not spend money importing vehicles into this country when we can assemble them locally. By doing so, we shall create jobs for our youths, build our manufacturing sector and grow our economy. I beg to support."
