I would like to make a bit of distinction between the Petition before us on the issue of human-wildlife conflict and the issue of private and community conservancies. We are asking for support for community owned, created and run conservancies and not the private conservancies that my colleague from Laikipia County has mentioned, like Sweet Waters and such. Kindly note the distinction."
