    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, for giving me this opportunity to say something about energy. Energy is a very important ingredient in this country especially for industrialisation and lighting of homes. Energy is very important to the extent that it is the one which will determine whether investors will come to this country or not. So, to enhance our generation capacity, transmission capacity and connectivity, this House should support any increment and ensure we play a key role in identifying those particular areas for connectivity. I attended a World Bank meeting which Kenya featured as one of the best in terms of connectivity effort from 2010 till now. It was a showcase for the whole world to see that it is possible to transmit power to areas which are sparsely populated.
