I propose that when we are moving the amendments, we do it procedurally like we do with the Motion where we would expect the Chair to say: “The proposed allocation under the programme in respect of Development Expenditure, Kshs2,690,000,000 million be deleted and substituted thereof with the figure Kshs690 million…” Then you go ahead and explain. This is because we do not want to have a situation where after we finish, the HANSARD has not captured correctly the amounts and then we would be accused of sleeping on the job."
