    "content": "On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise to request for a Ministerial Statement from the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security regarding the invasion of the Veterinary Laboratory Sports Club land on Saturday, 30th October, 2010 at 5.30 a.m. by people claiming ownership of the land and used earth movers, excavators and a fleet of vehicles ferrying hooligans to destroy property of the club worth Kshs3.1 million. The land has been allocated to powerful individuals in the Government directly and through proxies. The title deeds were subsequently revoked pursuant to the Ndung’u Report and Cabinet register on 18th January, 2010 forbidding registration of any dealing with the said land. The Minister for Lands, in a letter to the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security on 13th October, 2010 stated that the purported letters of allotment or title deeds which may be in the possession of the claimants claiming ownership cannot be genuine or lawful as the land has never been available for alienation. It has been reserved for exclusive use of the Department of Veterinary Services via Gazette Notice No. 751 of 1963. The primary concern is that the private developers were able to use---"
