For example, insulin is charged at Kshs200 in our health facilities, compared to Kshs1,800 in the private sector. However, this amount is not always affordable to many of our people due to high levels of poverty among our community members. For those who cannot afford to pay for treatment, there is a waiver and exemption in place."
