    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity. The importance and magnitude of this programme can only be highlighted by the definition from the World Bank, which states that a feeding programme is a targeted social safety net which provides both educational and health benefits to vulnerable children. This definition alone tells us that this programme is very important because it is a right for every child in this country to be fed. We need this programme for the poor, orphans and children of single-parent, who drop out of school because of lack of food in their homes. If we are going to provide food in schools, the children will benefit from the education given in our institutions."
