"content": "modern stadium. If every county had that kind of stadium, we would easily host big tournaments like the Africa Cup of Nations. It is a shame that this country is one of the biggest economies in Africa but we have never hosted the Cup of Nations, a tournament that comes with benefits. It is because we have not taken sports seriously. This House should pass this Motion and we should follow up through the Committee on Implementation so that we ensure that this programme is rolled out across the country as soon as possible. The negative effects on our youth we see every day; every weekend when we go home we see how our youth have been wasted by drugs and other social ills. We cannot continue keeping quiet and doing nothing. Our Constitution is very clear on affirmative action for the youth. Very little has been done in this area. I can see my time has run out.
