    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have already indicated that the Ministry will discuss with the Treasury to ensure that the gadgets for measuring blood sugar are acquired duty free. However, I know that all the drugs that we use in this country; if they are imported, they are duty free particularly the ones for diabetes. Really, there is no tax on most of the drugs we import from outside that we use for the treatment of diseases. I think the area we need to look at is the laboratory examination. This is where we are in touch with the Treasury so that we can waive duty on these products."
