"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, if any Member has been mislead, I am sure it is the hon. Member for Gichugu. I have clearly stated that the reverse of compulsory acquisition is what is being requested; that a private developer has requested to take Government land, which is currently a road and we received the request. We have not granted the request. So at what point does this amount to misleading the House? I want to assure the House, and I think I have already said it, that we do not want to be an obstacle to development. However, any transfer of public land into private land must be done within the law and my Ministry will ensure that that is done."
