Therefore, I want to encourage the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture and Livestock to get in touch with his counterpart of the Departmental Committee on Trade, Industry and Co-operatives, so that they can agree on the most appropriate time for them to begin their sittings. The Clerk will release letters to the various persons, bodies and organisations which will appear before you. Because of the seriousness of the matter, those Committees are allowed to sit even when the House is sitting, including during the weekend, if they find it appropriate to do it."
