    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this Motion. The Committee on Finance and National Planning brought this Motion and clearly stated that they would bring in some amendments especially on the VAT Act. I support the amendments, if they are going to look at the winners and the losers. Income Tax needs to be collected from entities which can give us money, including betting companies. Sometime back, betting companies frustrated this country. Some of them were supposed to have supported some events in some country but because of an increase in taxation, they withdrew their support.
