Sometime back, there was a bumper harvest in eastern and coastal areas of this country. At that time the Government was buying maize at Kshs1,500 per bag. So, what has informed the Ministry, now that there is no harvest in those zones and there is a harvest in other zones of Kenya, to increase the buying price to Kshs1,800?"
