    "content": "enhancing what they have learnt and gone through. Therefore, when given a chance they can contribute a lot in the forces. Out there, many youth nowadays are losing interest in joining the NYS when they see their colleagues who have gone through the programme just lying idle. Therefore, this Motion is a motivator to many of the youth who would want to join the NYS. If they see that some of their colleagues have joined the disciplined forces, they will be more motivated and would want to join the forces. When there are disasters in this country, we see the NYS involved. If they join the disciplined forces, they can join the disaster management team because they will confirm to Kenyans that when they are given those roles, they perform as patriots of this nation and, therefore, can do it well. There are young men and women who have been trained to be tailors, mechanics and carpenters. I ask the Government to allocate a little kitty to support those youth to start their own businesses and make sure that the training they got can be of help in future when they start their own businesses. Finally, I wish to disagree with those who are calling for us to do away with the NYS. We should not allow our young men and women to suffer because of a few corrupt individuals. The men and women are not corrupt but those who have been charged with the responsibility of seeing that the youth are trained go away with their monies. We should not allow our youth to suffer because of other people. I support the Motion"
