"content": "the NYS graduates to join the police force, so that our young people can get out of the streets and provide for their families. That should be a requirement. That is why I am saying that there is a thin line between the NYS paramilitary training and that of the disciplined forces. Our youths spend six months in NYS and then they come to roam our streets. That should be the first requirement when we are recruiting our youths to join the disciplined forces. These are young people who are trained in masonry, carpentry and welding. This is an added advantage. The youths graduate from NYS and then they roam in the streets and then the disciplined forces come to recruit a new group of young people. Why do they recruit them and yet employment is a problem? What we should be talking about is how to sanitise NYS, so that it remains lucrative the way we grew up knowing it, so that our youths can feel comfortable."
