Members, we learnt a lot especially regarding the need of persons living with disabilities, especially psycho-social disabilities, a topic which Kenya as a country needs to research on further. We also learnt that a sizeable percentage of our prisoners are persons living with disabilities and have psycho-social disabilities thus the need for psycho-social support rather than confinement or imprisonment.
