    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise on point of intervention to seek your clarification on an issue in terms of the statements to this House. On 27th February, a young man in Meru University was killed. I sought a Statement from the Cabinet Secretary Matiang’i and it was duly done by the Leader of the Majority Party. He was supposed to appear today before the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security, but he did not appear. The father of that young man was in this House to follow that Statement. My question is: How can we get the committees to be in full control of the statement- seeking process so that they are able to enforce Article 125 of the Constitution to call for evidence and compel the relevant authorities to appear? It is now four months and that statement has not come. I know the frustration is shared by Mheshimiwa from Emuhaya who we were with today and no clear explanation was offered to us. How can we ensure that the committees are in full control to be able to enforce Article 125 of the Constitution?"
