    "content": " Thank you very much Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I reiterate what the rest of my colleagues have said that we support the investment of the Lake Basin Development Authority. The money allocated to it is not in vain. We are convinced as the Budget and Appropriations Committee that the money shall be recovered. The National Treasury is going to open a separate account to continuously receive proceeds of rent and other income and other revenues from the Lake Basin Development Authority Mall. Therefore, in a few years, the National Treasury shall have received all the money invested in that particular project. More so, we have heard that it is a loan and loans have a first charge on the Consolidated Fund. So, it is in order for us to approve the amendment."
