Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended- (3) in the proposed amendments to the Value Added Tax Act, 2013— (a) in section A of Part I of the First Schedule — (aa) by deleting the proposed new— (vii) paragraph 107. This is on medicine. It is going to make medicine expensive for Kenyans. Therefore, it will go against the access of universal healthcare."
