    "content": "As I close, I want to restate what I said before that yes, we got a new Constitution and we all said we are happy. We created all these independent commissions on the understanding that they were going to help remove the excesses of the Executive. However, the proliferation has not brought value to the Kenyan people and it is important that we now relook at them because they are independent but some of them seem to appear to say they are not answerable to anyone. If they have to become relevant into the future, then we need to see that we are getting value from them. NLC is obviously one of those bodies plus so many others that we keep questioning here in terms of what value they are actually adding to this country."
