    "content": " This is very important for me as a doctor. You know the Committee has visited various sites where there is seized sugar. I would like to know from the Chairman whether when they visited those sites, they took the samples and sent them to a reputable laboratory. The investigations we have had are from Kenya Bureau of Standards (KBS). Is there any possibility that the Committee has gone to see the seized sugar, taken samples and sent them to laboratories? They can tell us which laboratories they have sent the samples to. That is very important because the key issue here is whether the sugar Kenyans are taking is laced with copper, mercury and lead. This is key because, instead of the Committee just visiting and seeing and licking the sugar as some of them might have done, they need to confirm that it is now safe."
