    "content": "People reach retirement when their human capital is at zero and are vulnerable to diseases. In the country, the level of vulnerability to cancer has increased. It affects the elderly. There is diabetes and hypertension. These are diseases the old are vulnerable to. For one to be safe in old age, one needs to continue enjoying the benefits of retirement. That is why the success of the proposed scheme is very critical for us to have a healthy nation. I remember the words of former President Kibaki. He said, “A healthy nation is a working nation.” Good retirement schemes will ensure that even retirees have the energy to increase their financial capital so that sicknesses can be reduced so that we can have a healthy nation that can sustain its grandchildren."
