I want to table a public petition on behalf of the good people of Ndaragwa, on the de-gazettement of some 300 acres of forest land for the economic development of the people of Ndaragwa and to help in unleashing of the potential of this area. I, Jeremiah Kioni, on behalf of residents of Ndaragwa Constituency, draw the attention of the House to the following Petition: THAT one of the principles of land policy as enshrined under Article 60 of the Constitution of Kenya is that land be used and managed in accordance with the principles of sustainable and productive management of land resources and sound conservation and protection of the ecologically sensitive areas."
