I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.46 (2) (a) to make a Statement on an issue of general topical concern regarding anti- malaria drugs stock-outs in the country. Our nation’s greatness and prosperity depends on a healthy and vigorous population, more so, residing in our counties. In the last 15 years, the Kenyan Government has made great strides in preventing and controlling Malaria. However, this progress has not been uniform as some parts of the country, particularly my county of Nyamira and the counties of Kisii, Bomet, Nandi and Trans-Nzoia are still plagued by serious seasonal cases of Malaria.
