"content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. Pursuant to Standing Order 46(2)(c), I hereby present to the Senate the business of the House for the week commencing Tuesday, 10th July, 2018. The Senate Business Committee (SBC) will meet on Tuesday, 10th July, 2018, to schedule the Business of the Senate for the week. Subject to further direction by the SBC, the Senate will, on Tuesday, continue with consideration of Business that will not be concluded in today’s Order Paper. On Wednesday, 11th July and Thursday, 12th July, 2018, the Senate will consider Business that will not be concluded on Tuesday and any other Business scheduled by the SBC. Hon. Senators, the following Bills are at Second Reading stage- 1. The Public Participation Bill (Senate Bills No. 4 of 2018); 2. The Disaster Risk Management Bill (Senate Bills No. 8 of 2018); 3. The Retirement Benefits (Deputy President and Designated State (Officers)(Amendment) Bill (Senate Bills No. 2 of 2018); 4. The County Statistics Bill (Senate Bills No. 9 of 2018); 5. The Local Content Bill (Senate Bills No. 10 of 2018); 6. The Physical Planning Bill (National Assembly Bills No. 34 of 2017); 7. The Irrigation Bill (National Assembly Bills No. 46 of 2017); 8. The Kenya Roads Bill (National Assembly Bills No. 47 of 2017); 9. The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (Amendment) Bill (Senate Bills No. 12 of 2018); 10. The Impeachment Procedure Bill (Senate Bills No. 15 of 2018); and, The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
